We are currently seeking to recruit an Account Director as part of our client service team on the Heineken account. This role will lead the management of a selection of exciting brands from the Heineken portfolio, which includes Heineken, Coors Light, Tiger and Desperados
Necessary Skills/Experience
- Applicants should have a minimum of 4-5 years experience in a media agency environment, and the majority of this in account management and strategic planning
- Comfortable presenting and dealing with clients and partner agencies at a senior level
- Ability to champion media whilst providing strategies based on sound communication and business principles
- Be able to lead projects and/or campaigns from strategic planning to implementation to reporting stage
- Have an excellent understanding of all elements of the media mix including digital disciplines
- Have strong negotiation skills and be able to maximise value for clients and agency
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- High level of expertise in Office (word, powerpoint, excel) and strong analytical and numerical skills
- Be able to manage and work across a team to ensure smooth running of campaigns, workflow and department
- Have a pro-active approach and be continuously looking for innovative opportunities
- Able to ensure internal administrative, quality and accounting systems are adhered to at all times and are of the highest standard
Job Description
The main day to day tasks and responsibilities are:
- Media Planning & Buying – planning of media campaigns, negotiating media space, campaign implementation, reporting
- Account management – responding to client demands in professional and timely manner, ensuring all campaigns, projects, timelines and budgets are met. Liaising with creative and other agency partners to ensure smooth workflow and that best in class systems and procedures are always employed. Liaising closely with clients to get better understanding of overall communication objectives so as to deliver appropriate media opportunities and solutions.
- Research, market analysis and consultancy – researching and presentation of Irish and international media market including TV, radio, print, outdoor, digital and direct media technology, audience analytics, trend analysis, competitive markets and competitor strategies.
- Team management – managing workflow and providing direction, motivation and support to other team members on assigned accounts.
- New Business Development – supporting on new client pitches and identifying digital media opportunities for existing clients.
Salary: Commensurate with experience
